Philippine National Construction Corporation

About

Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNC) was originally incorporated as Construction Development Corporation of the Philippines (CDCP) on November 22, 1966. The company's primary purpose was to carry on the conduct of a general contracting business with a private or government agency or instrumentality as related to construction. On February 23, 1983, the corporate name of CDCP was changed to its current one.

Since 2002, the Company has refrained from actively engaging in the construction business, and focused more on the operation and maintenance of tollways.

PNC has a number of subsidiaries legally in existence but for the past three years were inactive. The Board of PNC will take the necessary steps to dissolve these subsidiaries in the immediate future. The Dasmariñas Industrial and Steelworks Corporation Contractor's, Builders and General Services, Incorporated (DCBGSI) is the lone subsidiary of PNC. DCBGSI offers general engineering services, steel fabrication and erection works, materials testing and quality control, general services, and heavy equipment leasing.
