The company was founded in 1991 in Cebu after Super Typhoon Ruping devastated the region's power and water infrastructure, creating an urgent, critical shortage of safe drinking water. In response, the founders established state-of-the-art purification and bottling facilities to supply affordable, pure, and safe hydration solutions to the public. Over the decades, PSWRI expanded exponentially from its original Cebu plant into a massive nationwide network with major production hubs across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—including large-scale facilities in Bulacan, Laguna, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.
