About
Teach for the Philippines, Inc. (TFP) is a for-purpose, non-stock, non-profit organization established in August 2012, working to ensure all Filipino children benefit from an excellent, inclusive, and relevant education. It operates as a member of the global Teach For All network, which spans over 60 countries and regions. TFP improves student outcomes and strengthens the education system by developing credible and principled leaders at every level — from classroom teachers to school heads to public-sector reformers — and by scaling evidence-based practices nationwide. Its flagship two-year Fellowship Program recruits outstanding college graduates and professionals and places them as full-time teachers in underprivileged public schools, equipping them with leadership skills and a deep understanding of educational inequality. TFP also operates the Punong-Guro Program for school principal development, the KATIG Teacher Training Series, the Tara, Kaya! Program, and COMET Projects. Since its founding, the organization has placed Teacher Fellows across Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan, and other provinces nationwide. Its Chief Executive Officer is Clarissa I. Delgado and it is certified by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). As of 2026, TFP's Facebook community has over 240,000 followers and it actively recruits for its 2026 Fellowship cohort.
