About

TeaM (Philippines) Energy Corporation (TPEC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TeaM Energy Corporation, one of the Philippines' largest independent power producers, which is jointly owned by JERA Co., Inc. — a joint venture between Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and Chubu Electric Power Company of Japan — and Marubeni Corporation, also of Japan. TPEC is a licensed Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) since 2012, pioneering electricity retailing in the Philippines having been engaged in energy supply since 2001. The company is focused on the retail and wholesale supply of electricity, energy trading, total power solutions, and power generation development and investments. TeaM Energy Corporation, its parent, operates the 420 MW Pagbilao Unit 3 Power Project in Quezon Province with a 50% stake, and previously operated the 735 MW Pagbilao Power Station — which was turned over to the Philippine government in August 2025 following the expiration of its 29-year IPP contract — and the 1,200 MW Sual Power Station in Pangasinan, transferred in October 2024. TPEC continues to serve electric utilities, economic zones, and industrial end-users, offering customized energy supply options, onsite and offsite solar solutions, renewable energy certificates, and technical and aftersales support.
